'mono clock' was short listed for the Jerwood Moving Image Award
‘remote crpt2’ was presented with an award by Choreographic Captures, as part of the Munich film festival.
‘turning the machine’ was part of the New Directors Exhibition at the PUBLIC Art Gallery, Walsall.

Music includes.
Lead singer in the band Swansway (1981-1985).
Music for theater workshops and performances in the Birmingham Fierce Festivals.
Music and sound design for 'Flatbed' a short film directed by Tom Merilion screened at the Vienna film festival.
Two albums under the name ‘mighty math’ including being invited to do a John Peel session which was aired in 2001.

The Words Under The Word - film.

Robert made films for the o[rlawren] tracks The Words Under The Wood and Rising Swing Ringing
from the CD/DVD Book Of The Folded Forest released on Home Normal in 2013.

This film is taken from the upcoming release, 'Book Of The Folded Forest' by Orla Wren. As part of the release, we invited some of our favourite film makers to create works based on tracks for the album for the accompanying DVD. LUMACELL works in both music and film, being nominated for the Jerwood Moving Image Award before, as well as winning an award for Choreographic Captures at the Munich Film Festival. His visually stunning film for the track 'The Words Under The Wood' perfectly encapsulates the imagination, sense of innocence, and youth of this wonderful album. The CD+DVD package will be released on August 2nd, 2013, to tie in with Orla Wren's performance headlining the first day of the HomeNormalism festival. The performance will include films from the DVD, as well as unique films for the show itself. Thank you.
